When you search for fuel prices, Fuel Saver may request access to your device’s GPS location. This is used solely to find petrol stations near you. We do not store, share or transmit your precise location to any third party. Location data is processed in your browser and used only for the duration of your search session.
We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views and general geographic region (country level only). Our hosting provider (Render.com) automatically records standard server log data including IP addresses, browser type and pages visited. These logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes only and are not used for marketing or tracking.
Fuel Saver does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Google AdSense, our advertising partner, may use cookies to serve relevant advertisements. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ad Settings.
Fuel Saver uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense may collect data and use cookies in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or control over cookies placed by Google.
Fuel prices are sourced from the UK Government’s Fuel Finder scheme and from publicly available data feeds published by major fuel retailers. We do not share any user data with these sources.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. As we collect minimal personal data, there is typically nothing to access or delete. To make a data request, contact us at fuel@firstproject.net.
