In February 2026, the UK Government launched the Fuel Finder scheme — a landmark piece of legislation requiring every petrol station in the UK to publish their prices in real time. For the first time, comprehensive, accurate fuel price data became freely available to developers and consumers alike.
We saw an opportunity to build something genuinely useful: a tool that doesn’t just show you the cheapest price nearby, but accounts for the cost of driving there and back. A station 10 miles away might have fuel 5p cheaper per litre, but once you factor in the fuel you burn getting there, you’re not saving anything.
True cost comparison. Every result shows you the total cost — fuel price plus estimated travel cost — so you can make a properly informed decision. Results are ranked by total cost, not just pump price.

Independent. We have no commercial relationships with any fuel retailer. Our rankings are based entirely on price data — the cheapest station always appears first.
UK Government data. We use the official UK Government Fuel Finder scheme data, supplemented by feeds from major retailers including Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Esso. Prices are updated throughout the day.
